Domain Names
Domain Name Guidelines
Your domain name must consist of alphabetic characters, numeric characters,
or the minus sign "-". Other characters are not accepted.
A domain name cannot begin or end with a minus sign.
No more than 67 characters are allowed.
Although no longer regulated, the accepted usage has been to use .com for a commercial business. Non-profit businesses use .org, and .net has been for a network-related business.
Domain Name Registration:
Webs And Words does not charge a handling fee for registering your domain name but a registration fee is paid to the registrar.
Some companies charge up to $70.00 or more for the first two years to register your domain name,
and $35.00 a year
after that for renewal. A lot of companies also add on a service fee.
Webs And Words charges $20.00 per year. That is it! You may register your
domain name for 1 to 10 years at a time. This applies to the top level domains: .com, .org, and .net.

Domain Names are not case sensitive.
At present, we are only registering the top level domains, which
are .com, .net, and .org.
To see if your chosen domain name is available, we will use the "WHOIS" registry check program. Just email us your choices for your domain name. We will check to see if they are available and let you know back right away.
